I likes the weird stuff. Made in the late 50's and mid-40s, respectively.
Are they the "real" stuff or only working reproduction?
have fun this week-end
That's some pretty cool hardware.
Oh, and in case someone was wondering what they were.
The first one (the slide markings are different on mine) is a West German Firebird (variation of the Russian Tokarev). They were made in Hungary for the Egyptian military, but they cancelled the order part way through production. So most of them were sold to a West German commercial gun manufacturer. Fires 9mm luger. Circa 1958-59.
The second one is an Enfield no2 mark1*. Made by the British government during WWII. The * part refers to the variation with the hammer bobbed - they were designed for tank crews that didn't want anything to snag when getting out of a tank in a hurry. Fires 38 S&W.
NOW YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!
